Eligible candidates are invited to appear for a Walk-in Interview for engagement as Guest Faculty on a purely temporary and need-based basis to teach in the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Programme.

Subject-wise Essential Qualifications

Agronomy

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture; Master's Degree in Agronomy with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized University; NET/Ph.D. as per ICAR/UGC norms.

Genetics & Plant Breeding

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture; Master's Degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding and Genetics with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade); NET/Ph.D. as per ICAR/UGC norms.

Horticulture & Vegetable Science

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture; Master's Degree in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) or Vegetable Science with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade); NET/Ph.D. as per ICAR/UGC norms.

Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture; Master's Degree in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade); NET/Ph.D. as per ICAR/UGC norms.

Plant Pathology & Agricultural Microbiology

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture; Master's Degree in Plant Pathology or Agricultural Microbiology with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade); NET/Ph.D. as per ICAR/UGC norms.

Entomology & Seed Science

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture; Master's Degree in Agricultural Entomology or Seed Science & Technology with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade); NET/Ph.D. as per ICAR/UGC norms.

Agricultural Economics & Agricultural Extension

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture; Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Extension with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade); NET/Ph.D. as per ICAR/UGC norms.

Business Management

MBA or equivalent in Business Management/Agri-business with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from a recognized University.
