The Government of Kerala is inviting applications for two critical leadership positions to spearhead the growth of the IT and ITeS sectors in the state:

1. Chief Executive Officer, Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram

• About the Park: Technopark is one of India's largest IT parks, spread across 768 acres in 5 phases, housing around 500 companies and employing over 80,000 IT professionals.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The selected candidate is expected to have a clear understanding of the IT industry's business dynamics and global trends. Key responsibilities include:

• Interacting and negotiating with global players in the field.
• Strategizing and supporting the expansion of the IT sector in the State.
• Working closely with the entire industry landscape, ranging from Start-ups & SMEs to Multinational companies.
• Developing clear strategies for leveraging existing infrastructure and structuring the IT sector innovatively.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• A Basic Degree in Engineering.
• AND an MBA (Full-time) / Executive MBA (Full-time - not less than 1 year) / Executive MBA (Part-time - not less than 2 years) / 2-year PGDM (Full-time) / 2-year PGDBM (Full-time) OR a Post Graduate Degree in Engineering/Technology.

Experience Requirements

• Overall Experience: 20 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years specifically in the IT/Electronics industry.
• Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience serving as the Head of a Division, Profit Centre, or Organization.
• Sector Experience: Experience in the development of Infrastructure for the IT/ITES sector.
• Desirable Experience: Candidates with experience in Grade A office development, land leasing, real asset and workplace management with a Fortune 500 occupier, and experience in Marketing, Sales & Customer Relations will have an advantage.

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit is 55 years as on the date of the notification.

Terms of Engagement & Application Details

1. Duration of Engagement: 3 Years.

2. Remuneration: Rs. 3,50,000 approximately per month.
